IT Specialist / Programmer

Business & Finance Consulting (BFC) (www.bfconsulting.org), specializing in microfinance development and consulting, offers a challenging job opportunity for an IT Specialist / Programmer.

Job responsibilities:
• Build, develop, maintain and manage applications for: Credit Scoring, Human Resources Management, Accounting
• Make recommendations on software upgrades, positioning and purchase based on evaluations
• Provide assistance in installing and maintaining of the developed software
• Implement innovations in business process optimization
• Provide necessary support in business development

Requirements:
• University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• At least three years experience in database programming and management
• Experience working with InterBase, Firebird databases, Linux, MySql, LDAP, XML, SOAP, SPSS, PHP, HTML, CSS etc.
• Strong practical background in Delphi programming software, System Integration, Server Administration, Web Development, Web Server configuration and security etc.
• Experience in Programming for banks/financial institutions is an advantage
• Excellent command of Russian and technical English
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform well under time pressure
• Ability to deliver good results both working independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in international environments and flexibility to travel
• High sense of responsibility
