IT Technician (Network Administrator) !URGENTLY!!!

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Information Technician is responsible for installing and maintaining computer hardware, software and networks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software
Main Activities
Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system

2. Monitor and maintain technology to ensure maximum access
Main Activities
Troubleshoot all technology issues
Provide network access to all staff
Install work stations & network
Connect and set up hardware
Load all required software
Provide network accounts and passwords as required
Monitor security of all technology

3. Perform other related duties as required during working hours
Produce reporting and statistics on lotteries
Database Systems Reporting
Bulk SMS send out Execution
Server Statistics Reporting

QUALIFICATIONS:
University degree in Information Systems Technology or similar.
. . High level of English.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Computer hardware and software systems and programs
Computer networks, network administration and network installation
Computer & Network troubleshooting
E-mail and internet programs
Ability to negotiate hardware/software service and technical support contracts with vendors



Skills
The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:
Ability to install and administer computer hardware, software and networks
Analytical and problem solving skills
Decision making skills
Effective verbal & writing skills (Romanian, Russian, English or French is a must)
Networking and Operation Systems knowledge (Linux, UNIX, Microsoft).
Database (SQL & Oracle) language knowledge.
Computer skills including the ability to create spreadsheets & word documents
Time management skills
