Job requirements:
University degree in information technology, computer science or related field
A minimum of 5+ years IT Supervisory or Management level experience in a service or production oriented for-profit environment
Broad technical knowledge
SAP/ERP know-how and experience nice to have
Ability to understand organizational and business needs and communicate technical concepts and solutions
Highly collaborative and analytical thinker with attention to detail
Hands-on, flexible and accountable
A service focused personality with strong self-confidence and a self-organized, highly professional and open-minded attitude
Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills (English is a must; German would be beneficial)
Excellent organizational and project management skills, including ability to co-ordinate local plant IT Business Partners in different regions and locations
Description
Manage a small, well-defined organizational unit with homogenous functions.
Coordinates and leads IT team and projects within a matrix organization
Evaluates effectiveness of software programs and explores new applications to meet future business needs.
Coordinates data recovery, testing, and data redundancy processes.
Ensures an effective management of IT resources for the company via evaluating processes and making operational changes
Interfaces with both external and internal clients to provide assistance and solve problems
Plan and administer the budget in his/her area of responsibility, in cooperation with the supervisor, and make sure there is compliance with it
Cooperate in personnel planning within his/her area of responsibility in cooperation with the supervisor; employ qualified personnel
Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to associates that report to him/her; make personnel decisions in cooperation with the HR department and the supervisor
Break down and prioritize group goals for associates
Cooperate in the development of IT products, processes and services, in close cooperation with internal and external service providers
Cooperate in the technical availability of all systems in his/her area of responsibility
Cooperate in developing concepts and implementing improvement programs to optimize the processes.
Assure the documentation, maturity and quality testing for the processes, in order to fulfill conditions that were contractually agreed with the customer
