IT Manager

The company:
International manufacturing company. Automotive industry.
Site: c.Ungheni, Republic of Moldova

Job Description :
•Ultimately responsible for plant IT activities thus ensuring that the product is shipped successfully to customer.
•Manages the overall function of the information systems in the plant. Responsibilities include system analysis, telecommunications and computer operations.
•Responsible for the integration of new and existing systems.
•Evaluates the economics of alternative methods / solutions.
•Performs costs control activities, prepares annual budgets requests and assures effective and efficient use of budgeted funds, personnel, material facilities and time.
•Ensures the operations and maintenance of technology and applications.
•Implement and maintain all computer systems to the Company Standard Environment.\
•Implement and manage the server room.
•Working as the onsite Senior IT Employee directly supervising IT support team while delegating / sharing workload.
•Providing IT leadership to the Plant Management team.
•Ensure a safe working environment, follow support and maintain working practices, comply with all relevant HSE legislation and local policies and procedures.
•Keeps up into operation the communication with the central computer and customer, maintaining updated the security systems according to ITPM so as to prevent any breakdown that could lead to a loss of information.
•Keeps up into operation all plant systems according to information Technology Practices Manual (ITPM) and Sarbanes – Oxley (SOX) requirements.
•Performs a Confidentiality, integrity and Availability (CIA) Assessment.
•Updates and test the Disaster Recovery Plan.
•Carries out a Performance Evaluation and Developer Plan for subordinate personnel.
•Analysis arising problems the daily operative, putting forward proposals if improvement.
•Accomplishes Company’s regulations and policies, within the area of responsibility.
•Requires limited supervision.
•Reports to Plant Director and the Regional IT Director.

Qualifications & Experience:
•University degree; (Preferred: Degree-level qualification in computer studies.)
Professional experience:
•Or than 5 years experience in Information Technology.
•Or than 3 years experience in manufacturing company.
•Or than 2 years experience on managerial position.
•Experience in implementation of business applications.
•Licenses, completed courses, certificates:
•Willingness to travel in business a couple times a year at maximum.
•Fluency in English (written & spoken).
Computer literacy, proficiency in computer applications:
Hardware:
•HP family servers, PC equipment, bar-code technology.
Software:
•Any ERP or MRP ll system (the QAD is preferred).
•MRP, JIT, MES, BI, SQL.
Databases:
•Administering of MS SQL Server.
•Communication: WAN, LAN, PBX.
Additional Knowledge:
•Sarbanes-Oxley, COBIT, ISO/TS – 16949.
Additional competences: For example, analytical skills, ability to cope with difficult situations / stress, good communication skills cooperation, managerial skills: team management, ability to take decisions.
