International Consultant

UNAIDS Moldova announces the recruitment of an international Consultant to accomplish the evaluation and review of the National Programme on Prevention and Control of HIV/AIDS and STIs 2006-2010.
The main tasks of the International Consultant will be to hold discussions and have consultations with the national stakeholders and counterparts to receive the information needed to compile a report based on the results of a desk review of a number of key reports and studies prepared over the period of the Programme and on the information obtained from a number of structured key informant interviews performed with key stakeholders and experts in this area.
Requirements for applicants:
- Master's degree in a public health field.
- Three-four years experience in the field of health data analysis and programming.
- Expertise in public health issues with particular emphasis on HIV/AIDS programme management and analyses.
- Operational experience in health project management and development.
- Experience in health sector projects and experience in collaboration with foreign donors, knowledge of AIDS programmes and health policy.
- Demonstrated experience in realization of similar tasks.
- Good knowledge of English and Russian languages.
- Experience in understanding of country level coordination of the national AIDS response.
