Intermodal & logistics coordinator

- In charge of developing new intermodal products and managing intermodal moves in MSC Moldova (hereinafter referred to as Agency) in alignment with local strategy and vision
- Following comprehensive review of the existing intermodal setup in Agency, provides recommendations on improvement of systems and processes in place
- Enhances Agency efficiency through creating innovative and out-of-the-box solutions in the intermodal segment
- Identifies potential new trucking vendors, for the sake of creating more competitive intermodal products on the market
- Negotiates co-operation with new trucking vendors in the interest of enlarging Agency truckers portfolio
- Monitors relevant markets by capturing information surrounding trends, customers and competitors and proposes action plans based on the collected data
- Follows up on execution of loading orders given to trucking vendors
- Coordinates delivery details with both customers and trucking vendors
- Verifies completeness and correctness of cargo documentation
- Manages:
o container backload options with trucking vendors
o stock and distribution of high security bolt seals
o demurrage and storage charges to customers
o container repair and maintenance requirements
o container repositioning and evacuation requests
- Prepares weekly and monthly reports to local agency management and headquarters

Qualifications:
- University degree or relevant qualifications/experience pertinent to intermodal management
- At least 5 years of experience in intermodal management and preferably in terminal operations
- Proven records of results achieved in intermodal segment
- Sense of urgency when managing multiple and time-sensitive projects
- Proactive problem-solving style with a pragmatic, hands-on mentality
- Has the ability to communicate effectively and drive change with stakeholders inside and outside of the organization
- Strong attention to details
- Demonstrated ability to influence others
- Excellent command of Romanian and Russian, both written and spoken
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Proficient at MS Office suite
- Driver-license category B
