Intermediate/senior technical qa engineer

This is a remote, home-based position.
Scopic Software (www.scopicsoftware.com) is seeking an intelligent, hard-working, experienced Technical QA Engineer. The company is a US-based company with employees in more than 20 different countries. The company develops graphics, multimedia and image processing/analysis software, as well as other types of software, for the desktop, web and mobile platforms. Engineers work from the comfort of their home using a PC and internet connection. Work is interesting and challenging. This position requires both QA and programming skills.
Requirements:
• 2+ years working experience in software QA;
• Good Javascript and/or Java programming skills;
• Expertise with performance/stress testing using APIs;
• Experience with automated testing (e.g., Selenium, jMeter, Robot Framework);
• Comfortable using either Git or SVN;
• Working experience with JIRA and/or Mantis;
• Good English reading and writing skills;
• Working experience with Linux;
• Dedication and discipline to work remotely from home;
• Good home computer and internet connection.

This is a full-time position.
The rate for this position is $14 - $18/hour.
