Key responsibilities

Market research
Conducts a series of desktop research and direct investigations related to the national market in the field of available European funding, pre-accession funds, project management and training sector;
Researches business opportunities in the field, market profile, public framework and related policies;
Develops and transfers know-how on legislation, financing resources, political situation etc.;

Office administration
Manages all the administrative, legal and logistic operations for the setup of the office in the country;
Organizes and coordinates office operations and procedures;
Recruits staff when necessary;

Project funding and project implementation
Identifies and selects funding programmes and priorities;
Creates and coordinates project consortia by constantly relating with national entities, both public and private institutions;
Participates in project design stages – technical and financial proposals;
Supervises and intermediates in the implementation phase;

Identifies any other potential growth opportunities considering the company’s potential in the country.

Desired skills and experience
Proficiency in English and Spanish;
Consistent background in the field of European and international funding opportunities, including consultancy, project management, technical assistance;
High level of interest in business trends and practices, including an understanding of business strategies, structures, sales;

Solid network of contacts at the national level – institutions, organizations – both private and public is a must;

Thorough understanding of the national framework including funding resources, programs and guidelines, governing policies;

Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

Strong analytical / problem solving skills;

Ability to provide a fiscal residency certificate of the country of residence as a registered freelancer or company.
