Freelance writer/translator (russian language)

We are looking for an enthusiastic freelance writer/translator to contribute to VICER.RU on a full-time basis, who will focus on generating
fresh content for our broad audience with unmistakable “share” appeal. VICER is a growing new media spin-off that creates and curates uplifting, sharable
content.

Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility will be creating, translating and adapting content from English into Russian
- Post the content on the website
- Find trending and pre-viral content that will resonate with the VICER.RU audience
- Provide headline options written in the VICER.RU voice
- Write content in quick turnaround time
- Some assistance with community management on Facebook
- Work schedule, Monday - Friday from 09:00 to 18:00

Qualifications:
- A genuine love and talent for all things shareable. You are a social media maven. You think about top ten lists, cats and new viral videos you’d want to share all the time.
- Organized and comfortable working under deadlines. You are a highly efficient team player who has a sense of urgency and tends towards productivity – you get more done than anyone else you know and your work is spotless.
- Obsessive attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of Russian language grammar
- Takes initiative and thrives under autonomy
- Uncanny ability to adapt to a new voice. We have a broad audience and we know it well – we’ll need you to embrace our voice and keep it appealing.
- Knack for keeping it fresh – we put a lot of pieces out there and this is part of the challenge, and the fun.
- No previous experience required as long as you are a quick learner. An online training will be provided.

Starting salary 3000-3600 lei NET, based on your test results.
