Financial Officer (Moldova)

Business & Finance Consulting (BFC), a Swiss German consulting company specialized in development finance, offers a challenging job opportunity for Financial Officer. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team and take a leading role in developing and running our internal accounting systems.

Duty station: Chisinau, Moldova

Job responsibilities will include:
- Prepare project accounting reports on a monthly basis
- Crosscheck accounting reports received from projects abroad
- Analyze and plan revenues and expenses of the company
- Verify cash box documents
- Administer budget execution related to donor financed contracts
- Assist in drafting budgets and preparing contracts for new projects
- Prepare and submit accounting statements to relevant state authorities
- Provide advice to the management in accounting and tax issues
- Build an accounting department capable to handle the growing number of projects

Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least five years experience in accounting/book-keeping
- Knowledge of Tax Code application in Moldova, accounting legislation and standards
- Experience in project accounting
- Fluency in English, Russian and Romanian languages
- Knowledge of German will be an advantage
- Computer literacy
- Experience in using specialized accounting software
- Experience in business planning
- Excellent managerial skills
- High sense of responsibility
