Company Overview: Well established international company within the automotive production, company size 500-600 employees, in a region of Moldova, Soroca.


Financial Controller (manufacturing, region of Moldova)


Job summary: Financial Controller for the plant will oversee budgeting and accounting (3-4 accountants), will be flexible to be at Soroca’s plant when the management needs him/her. Reports to Plant Manager in Moldova and CFO of the company in Italy.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Will be direct supervisor of 3-4 accountants, including the chief accountant
• Will coordinate and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures, systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash
• Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting as compared to budget
• Will oversee and control the accounting reports to ensure that they are correct, clear and accurate
• Provide advice on bookkeeping and financial services to members on a case by case basis


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience as a Financial Controller, Auditor or Tax Representative in an international company least 3-5 years
• Experienced professional in international reporting, international accounting standards
• Fluent in English or Italian,
• Confident in forecasting and preparing budgets
• Responsible, and if not from Soroca will ensure to be present at the manufacturing company as many times as the management needs his or her presence
• Open minded, PC (Excel, Word, Power Point) literate, energetic and motivated individual
