Duty station: Chisinau, Moldova

Responding to the needs of our growing consultancy practice, we are seeking 2 enthusiastic finance officers to join our team based in Chisinau, Moldova. The Finance Officers will become an integral part of our Finance and Accounting Department. Their role will involve working closely with clients to administer financial and accounting activities of major international consultancy projects.

Job responsibilities:
• Provide budget control and bookkeeping of BFC’s projects in up to 10 countries of operation
• Ensure compliance with norms and procedures related to accounting and procurement
• Maintain and develop financial reporting tools
• Plan and manage liquidity
• Supervise billing process and respond to requests from clients with regard to invoices
• Report financial and economic project results to the company management
• Keep records and strict control of the project budgets
• Communicate with the Clients and Consultants under the existing projects and process financial claims
• Record payments of Clients’ invoices in a prompt manner
• Calculate and verify expenditures related to Clients’ projects

Requirements:
• University Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Progressive experience in finance and accounting
• Solid knowledge of accounting software applications and programs (Abacus, Quick Books, 1C)
• Fluency in English and Russian, other languages would be an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office (advanced level of Excel) and other computer skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform well under time pressure
