For a new embedded systems project, Pentalog Chisinau is looking for some of the best specialists in this field. Along with this well-known partner, a leader in the industry of telecommunications, the Pentalog team has set an ambitious objective: to offer our customers the greatest possible leverage for their software investments and to reduce their IT infrastructure costs.
This project implies knowledge and development through training with the following technologies:
- CPU: PowerQuicc I,II, III (Freescale); ARM7, 9; MIPS-32;
- Networking: bridging, switching, routing protocols;
- L2 protocols (STP, LLDP, LAG, IEEE802.1x, ELMI, IEEE802.3ah, IEEE302.1ag/ITU-T Y1731, ITU-T G.8031, ITU-TG.8032 etx);
- L3 protocols (SNTP, SNMP, IEEE 1588, IGMP), etc.;
- NMS software (SNMP, Java).

Responsibilities:
- Implementation of new customer requirements/functionalities;
- Involvement in all key phases of the project development cycle: design, coding and testing;
- Offers customer support for the integration of all developed solutions;
- Support activities related to all issues reported by the customer;
- Support provided fof mentoring or coaching other team members – when necessary.
Requirements:
- Graduated Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
- At least 2 years experience in embedded systems development;
- Good knowledge and experience in Embedded C;
- Real-time embedded software experience;
- VxWorks, PSOS, CMX, eCos, embedded Linux;
- English language – advanced level;
- Good communication skills and team oriented working style.
