Background:
Project: Construction Supervision of the works contract for Rehabilitation of centralized irrigation systems in Criuleni and Lopatna
Consultant: Egis Eau S.A. / France
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Ensure proper maintenance and serving of the assigning vehicle is taken place on day-to-day and report to the Head of Chisinau Field Office on time;
• Regularly checks oil, water, battery charge, brakes, tires, etc. in order to keep the vehicle operational at all times;
• Drive office vehicle for transportation of authorized personnel and delivery/collection of cargo, pouch and other items;
• Make field trips in/or out-side the country;
• Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle, perform minor repairs and arrange for other related repairs;
• Make distribution of the Mission correspondence/material appropriate persons, mails and Mission documents.
Qualifications and skills required:
• Secondary or high school education; Valid driver's license of category B;
• Excellent knowledge of applicable Traffic Rules of Moldova;
• Skills in minor and emergency vehicle repair;
• Five years of work experience as a driver (recommendations required); Safe driving record;
• Experience of work for international organizations is an asset;
• Basic knowledge of office software (MS Word/Excel/Outlook/Internet Explorer) is an asset;
• Knowledge of spoken English is a mandatory requirement.
