Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps / CloudOps (Remote)
A deep-tech company at the forefront of confidential computing and cloud security is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps / CloudOps to help scale and secure its highly innovative platform. The company’s mission is to redefine data privacy by enabling secure and private computation in untrusted environments — combining secure enclaves with modern cloud-native technologies.
You’ll be part of a highly skilled engineering team building mission-critical infrastructure used by enterprise clients across finance, healthcare, and defence sectors.
What You’ll Do
- Design, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker, IaC)
- Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Collaborate with software engineers to automate deployment and testing processes
- Ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency across all systems
- Manage cloud resources (GCP, Azure, or AWS) and perform ongoing cost optimization
- Contribute to infrastructure security and support compliance-related efforts
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotation
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a Site Reliability, DevOps, or CloudOps role
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or Pulumi
- Proficient with Linux systems and shell scripting
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Good knowledge of networking, DNS, firewalls, and cloud security best practices
- Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with confidential computing or secure enclave technologies (e.g., Intel SGX, TEE)
- Familiarity with service meshes (Istio, Linkerd) or zero-trust network principles
- Programming experience in Go, Python, or Rust for infrastructure-related tasks
- Previous experience in a fast-growing tech startup
- Relevant certifications (CKA, AWS/GCP/Azure Architect, CISSP, CEH)
What’s Offered
- Competitive compensation package
- Flexible working hours and remote-friendly policy
- Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a high-impact domain
- A collaborative, low-bureaucracy work environment
