Deputy Director General for a private Medical Center
Position purpose:
The Deputy Director General is responsible for supporting the Director General in the development and implementation of strategic plans and policies of the Medical Center and to provide leadership and direction to Medical Center’s staff and activities, when necessary.
Main responsibilities:
* Full delegated authority to act on behalf of the Director General in his absence;
* Provides leadership and direction for Medical Center’s technical staff, setting an effective agenda and ensuring performance goals are set and achieved;
* Serves as mentor, coach and guide to senior staff;
* Represents the Medical Center to the public, key stakeholders and business partners;
* Other duties as requested by the Director General.
Requirements:
* University Degree (Medical education is a big advantage);
* Minimum of 7 years of working experience, 2 years+ of managerial experience;
* Good understanding of business and business processes, knowledge of the specifics of local medical system and business;
* Highly motivated individual, with excellent communication and strong inter-personnel skills;
* Excellent team building/motivational skills, a “Can Do” attitude;
* Acknowledged and proven leadership skills, well organized with the ability to earn respect from and influence people;
* Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Internet technology;
* Fluency in Romanian and Russian; at least medium level of English – is a big advantage.
