The Managed Services team operates Endava's and client's infrastructure across different countries. We're diverse, optimistic, team-oriented engineers and managers working on a daily basis to deliver IT services for some of the world's leading financial institutions, telecommunications and media organizations. Role:
We are looking for a talented manager who will look after a technical IT service management team in Moldova. Will be responsible for motivating our technical talents to efficiently support existing systems, implement new projects, deploy and maintain new services, fix broken applications. At the scale he will be dealing with, there will be many complex human and technical challenges that the IT Operations Manager will have to help his teams to solve.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day to day management of IT service delivery center operations, ensuring that agreed service levels are met and all relevant procedures are adhered to.
- Management and implementation of multiple projects for your team.
- Work with other departments and stakeholders to implement new services and improve existing ones.
- Hire, coach and develop a team of technical staff to meet department's objectives.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years managerial experience with technical teams with particular emphasis on interpersonal and negotiating skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- In-depth commercial and technical expertise in a variety of environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Good negotiation skills with experience of dealing with users, other staff and suppliers.
- Good understanding of current developments in the application of Information Systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Management.
