Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer to manage and optimise our on-premise and cloud infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CloudOps, with additional expertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and associated tooling to ensure high availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Helm.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with development teams to support cloud-native application deployment and operations.
- Ensure security best practices are followed in all infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 4–6 years of experience in CloudOps, SRE, or DevOps roles.
- Strong understanding of cloud hyperscalers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters and related tools.
- Experience with Terraform and Helm for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Familiarity with cloud-native services and architectures.
- Solid scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Engineer).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards.
