Chief Accountant (Moldova)

Business & Finance Consulting (BFC), a Swiss German consulting company specialized in development finance, offers a challenging job opportunity for Chief Accountant. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team and take a leading role in developing and running our internal accounting systems.

Duty station: Chisinau, Moldova

Job responsibilities will include:

* Prepare project accounting reports on a monthly basis
* Crosscheck accounting reports received from projects abroad
* Analyze and plan revenues and expenses of the company
* Verify cash box documents
* Administer budget execution related to donor financed contracts
* Assist in drafting budgets and preparing contracts for new projects
* Prepare and submit accounting statements to relevant state authorities
* Provide advice to the management in accounting and tax issues
* Build an accounting department capable to handle the growing number of projects

Requirements:

* University degree in Accounting or Finance
* At least five years experience in accounting/book-keeping
* Knowledge of Tax Code application in Moldova, accounting legislation and standards
* Experience in project accounting
* Fluency in English, Russian and Romanian languages
* Knowledge of German will be an advantage
* Computer literacy
* Experience in using specialized accounting software
* Experience in business planning
* Excellent managerial skills
* High sense of responsibility
