Causeni NGO HUB Center

Sponsored by US Government through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and administrated by the International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX), Moldova Citizen Participation Program (CPP) is pleased to announce a Request for Applications for local NGOs to serve as CPP Causeni Regional Hub Center (covering the South-East part of Moldova, including the South region of Transnistria).

Eligible organizations:
Registered local non-government organizations (NGOs) located in Causeni are eligible to apply.

Responsibilities of the Regional Hub Center:
To ensure normal working conditions for the team of Causeni Regional Centre by mutual agreement with IREX Central Office, Causeni Regional Coordinator and participants in the program with a view to meeting program objectives in the region and villages.
• Provide office spaces for the IREX/CPP Causeni Regional staff;
• Ensure the Regional Centre with electrical power, water, sewerage, heat, security, cleanness.
• Provide organizational and administrative support to IREX/CPP and to the IREX/CPP Causeni Regional staff;
• Assist IREX/CPP with dissemination of information and public awareness for the CPP;
• Administrate and coordinate all the activities necessary to ensure normal working conditions within the region administrated by the Regional Hub Centre (including Transnistrian region) with a view to fulfilling provisions of the contract signed with IREX.
• Provide logistical and clerical support for mentoring activities;
• Control implementation of the budget stipulated by the contract signed with IREX.

Guidelines for Application:
1. Briefly describe the mission, history, key organizational activities and highlight successes to date.
2. Provide an approximate number of existing and potential clients of the organizations, including the villages, towns and raions in which the organization has routinely worked.
3. Describe available resources/facilities (equipment, office spaces, etc.) of the organization.
4. Please list all sources and amounts of funding over the past two years. Include contact information for each funder. IREX/CPP may contact these funders in order to obtain a reference for the organization.
5. Provide detailed examples of collaboration with local NGOs, local and national government institutions, community organizations and citizen groups.
6. Please describe how you envision that your organization would:
 Help to implement Citizen Participation Program goals and activities;
 Provide office spaces, technical and administrative support to CPP Chisinau office and CPP Regional staff;
 Provide outreach to local communities within the region;
 Ensure transparency,
