C++ engineer

Name of the position: C++ Engineer

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Main objective: C++/C# developer.
Perform research, design, implementation and support tasks as a member of Lohika Work in a close contact with team members and customers.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in functional and architectural design of content that is developed for new product releases
• Implement, review, support and debug required content in quality defined by our group
• Directly communicate with customer support engineers and customer representatives as part of the HP customer support organization
• Implement fixes for service patches
• Collaborate with other R&D, QA, documentation and globalization teams
• Proactively raise technical risks and suggest measures against them
• Suggest technical and functional improvements to add value to the product
• Obtain tasks from TL, prepare functional and design specifications, approve them with all stakeholders, estimate and agree with TL task durations, implement, pass necessary code reviews
• Execute tasks of any complexity on the project within his AOR
• Report to TL about current tasks status, technical risks, and crisis situations within AOR
• Provide training for other team members on the AOR or expertise areas
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Must have:

• Commercial C++ development experience on Windows platform
• Commercial C# development experience
• WinForms/WPF experience
• Experience working with multithreading/multitasking
• OOP and Design Patterns
• Sufficient English level for communication (oral & written)
• Technical documentation writing skills (Functional or/and Technical specs)
• Good communication skills
• Team working experience
• Fast research and learning skills

Would be a plus:

• UML
• WinAPI knowledge
• COM/ATL experience
• Debugging and performance optimization skills
• Interop services experience
