Backend Developer (M/W)

We are looking for a talented Backend Developerwith a strong technical background and a passion for high-quality, scalable backend systems. You’ll be working alongside experienced developers in a collaborative and agile environment, contributing to complex, real-world software solutions for various industries.


Key Responsibilities
As a Backend Developer, you will:

Design, develop, and test backend components and APIs
Build and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable backend services
Participate in technical discussions, peer code reviews, and solution design sessions
Work closely with Product Owners to define implementation priorities and deliver value-driven features
Write and maintain user stories and documentation in collaboration with your team
Implement and maintain automated testing (unit, API, integration, functional)
Ensure software development best practices are followed and actively contribute to their improvement
Support and mentor junior developers, when needed

Essential Skills & Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development
Proficiency in Spring / Spring Boot framework
In-depth knowledge of REST API design principles and implementation
Experience with messaging systems (e.g., Solace, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or Kafka)
Strong understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
Fluent English (spoken and written)

Desirable / Nice-to-Have

Experience with graph databases (Neo4j, Cypher query language)
Knowledge of the Go programming language
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like Google Cloud
3+ years of experience working in Agile environments
Knowledge of French is a plus
