The Job
Join a team developing for a global mobile brand and e-commerce and Sitecore implementation

As a ASP.NET Engineer , you will:
• Build, expand, and support our existing and new web applications and Web-services development
• Work with management, development leads, other developers, and QA to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria and ultimately choose solutions which correlate best with the our company’s end goal
• Contribute ideas for improving existing systems and for implementing new technologies into our software ecosystem
• Ensure success of projects by designing and implementing high-quality technical solutions
• Be involved in all aspects of application development including analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and support
• Support web applications on multiple platforms such as .Net 2.0, 3.5 and 4.0
• Work directly with internal end users, exercising excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to present ideas and work through new designs using an interactive approach
• Resolve issues independently, thus, strong analytical skills are essential for success

Job Qualifications:

Required Skills & Competencies:
• Strong understanding of ASP.NET MVC development, C#, application architecture and object-oriented programming
• Understating of SOAP and n-tier application architectures
• Experience building RESTful and SOAP Web Services using .Net/WCF
• Experience supporting multiple web browsers and use of native debugging tools
• Experience with SQL 2005/2008, Stored Procedures, SQL Server Agent Jobs, Dynamic SQL
• Proficient in use of Visual Studio 2008/2010, TFS 2008/2010, branching and merging
• Understanding of the latest standards in web development, HTML5 & CSS3
• Sitecore CMS experience or other ASP.NET CMS (such as Umbraco, Sitefinity etc...)

Nice to Have:
• Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, MooTools, AngularJS, nodeJs, etc...
• Solid foundation of JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, AJAX
• Knowledge of other software architectures such as MVC, SOFEA, etc...
• Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative development


Additional requirements include:
• Minimum 2 years of ASP.NET Experience
• Strong development experience
• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar area of study, preferred
