Android App Developer

Responsibilities:

Develop, enhance, maintain, document, and otherwise support mobile applications using standard toolkits and following prescribed standards and development methodologies.
Ensure development projects are delivered on schedule, on budget, and to specification.
Elicit requirements and develop detailed estimates for proposed initiatives.
Research technical issues and/or opportunities; provide recommendations.
Participate in ad hoc projects and assignments as required.
Work comfortably in a dynamic, multiple project atmospheres.

Daily Responsibilities:
Work with internal development team to design, code, test and document new mobile applications and features for Android.
Create and maintain mobile applications.
Provide technical support to internal/external clients.
Understand system architecture with an eye to scalability and efficiency.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in mobile app development
Excellent experience with C/C++, Java
Knowledge of Androids’ development environment & APIs, NDK
Experience with cross platform and multi-threading programming
Strong knowledge of UNIX-like operating systems (Debian, FreeBSD, Centos, Ubuntu...)
Publishing your applications in Android Market is plus
Experience with OpenGL and 3D a strong plus
Big bonus points for experience with game development and knowledge of game engines (Unity3D, UDK...)
Another bonus points for experience with other mobile platforms & APIs (iOS, Blackberry, Windows...)
Good English written and verbal communication skills
Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks
Able to manage one's own time efficiently

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and diplomacy skills.
Must be able to effectively work independently or as part of a team in a busy environment.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines.
