Acquisition manager (fruits and vegetables)

Job purpose

The acquisition manager will be responsible for the control of acquisition channels; assuring qualitative produces with best price in accordance with Sales plan.

Duties and responsibilities

• Identify and assure profitable acquisitions from trusted suppliers in accordance with Sales strategy and produce range needs;
• Develop Purchase agents database with long-term local and abroad suppliers;
• Form the seasonal/yearly acquisition calendar ;
• Form the acquisition team;
• Assure quick and efficient acquisition logistics;
• Manage acquisition budget and expenditure;
• Market prices analysis, form a produce price trend and continuous market monitoring;


Qualifications and Personal Qualities

• University degree in Economic or Logistic areas;
• Work experience in relevant sectors at least 3 years;
• Fluency in Romanian, English and Russian;
• Personal Profile:
o Proactive, practical approach to the tasks and results driven person;
o Excellent communication, negotiating skills and decision making;
o Stress tolerant and disciplined;
• Good knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office applications;
• Fast learner, flexible, honest, hardworking and dynamic person.
