American Language Center (Buiucani) is hiring people willing and able to teach English to students of different ages and backgrounds.

Qualification: - At ALC Buiucani we pay attention to both formal education and informal experience. For this reason we encourage you to apply for the job even if you may think you do not have all the formal qualifications to teach. Your great passion for English matters too!

We are looking for:

- Native Speakers of English (e.g. Fulbright Researchers, Peace Corps volunteers, American and Canadian missionaries, family members of American Embassy employees, etc.)

And we are ALSO interested in:

- people who are not native English speakers but who functioned successfully in English speaking environment (which means that they lived, worked and/or studied in the USA, the UK, Canada);

- people who are now living temporarily in Moldova and want to do something creative, interesting and challenging;

- people who want to make a difference and want to teach English in an interesting, creative style (not following a traditional school approach).

Salary: - Depends on a candidate’s experience. As we are interested in collaborating with both novice teachers and highly experienced professionals in English, the pay can vary from 55 lei to $10 per 1 academic hour.
