Back End Developer Intern, SmartData SRL 01/2026 – 02/2026
Worked on the creation of the bachelor's thesis project, a website that helps students get ready for the national exams. Created the two microservices needed for the project, one for managing users and the other for managing tests and sessions. Python and .NET were used for the backend. Redis was used for caching and PostgreSQL for the database layer. Additionally, React was used in the development of the frontend portion.

Back End Developer Intern, Pentalog CHI 01/09/2024 - 02/10/2024
Among my teammates, we developed a website with its own API for IT companies to easily manage people that are currently on the bench. The internship was mainly based on security features, like authentication in multiple ways, like email, 2FA, OAuth via Google and Outlook, and data encryption. My main responsibilities were database design (PostgreSQL) and backend development using Spring Boot.

Working in a group of 5 people, we developed a mobile app where people can find interesting spots for taking photos. During the project, I worked with MSSQL, GoLang, and React Native. I was responsible for database design and implementing REST API using GoLang.

Distributed Applications Course, Office Management System 01/09/2025 - 15/12/2025
Developed 2 microservices using .NET and PostgreSQL for the database. Developed an API Gateway using Go to access the microservices. Inside the gateway, the requested authorization was implemented. For service-to-service communication, implemented event-driven architecture using a custom message broker developed in Go. In addition, service-to-service communication was done via gRPC protocol in addition to the message broker. Developed a data warehouse using .NET for ETL operations. Containerized everything using Docker and replicated via Docker Swarm.

The front end was developed with React, using react-router, react-hook-form, and Tailwind CSS. The back-end was developed in .NET, using Postgres as a database and Docker for deployment.

The first task involved creating a web scraper, a custom JSON serializer, and uploading scraped data to an FTP server. The second task involved implementing the RAFT algorithm along with a chat room using web sockets. The third task involved connecting RabbitMQ to the first task and consuming the data along with an FTP downloader and a mail sender using SMTP protocol.

Developed a web application that empowers individuals to earn money from home. Collaborated with teammates to seamlessly integrate frontend and backend, gaining exposure to new technologies like .NET. This experience enhanced both my technical and soft skills significantly.
