Senior .NET Software Developer

As a Senior .NET Software Developer, your mission is to translate high-level architectural concepts into concrete, high-performance back-end solutions. You will take full ownership of the development lifecycle, independently driving project progress from concept to delivery without relying on detailed specifications. In this role, you will implement secure APIs and data processing pipelines designed to protect sensitive research data within highly regulated environments. You work proactively to identify technical risks and unblock challenges early, ensuring platform stability over the entire project duration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions using .NET and C#-based technologies, aligned with the Healthy Data Platform architecture.
• Translate high-level architectural concepts into concrete, maintainable implementations, focusing on reliability and performance, taking full ownership from concept to delivery without relying on detailed specifications.
• Implement and integrate APIs and services that support secure access to sensitive research data, in line with trusted research environment principles.
• Apply secure development practices and follow relevant security and privacy guidelines in a healthcare research setting.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code; contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement.

Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Development experience with Cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Strong proficiency in .NET (e.g., .NET Core / .NET 8+) and C#-based Development.
• Experience with a modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, or similar).
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and modular design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and, preferably, microservices or service-oriented architectures.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with NoSQL is a plus.
• Proven track record of working independently and delivering complex features from design to production, demonstrating strong self-reliance, initiative, and the ability to make sound technical decisions in ambiguous situations.
• Experience in or strong affinity with regulated or security-sensitive domains (e.g., healthcare, finance, public sector).
