Middle Manual QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to offer timely and constructive feedback
• Develop detailed, organized, and well-defined test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, schedule, and coordinate testing activities
• Execute automation scripts using open-source tools
• Identify, document, and meticulously track bugs
• Conduct thorough regression testing following bug resolution
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as developers and product managers, to ascertain system requirements
• Monitor and analyze debugging process outcomes
• Keep track of quality assurance metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay abreast of advancements in testing tools and methodologies

Requirements and Skills:

• Over 3 years of demonstrated work experience in software Quality Assurance
• Proficient knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in crafting clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on expertise in both white box and black box testing
• Skillful in utilizing automated testing tools
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
• Professional proficiency in Jira, demonstrating the ability to effectively utilize Jira for issue tracking within a QA environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
