Endava is announcing a new Internship Program and currently is looking for interns with the right mix of talent and enthusiasm. The program is open to IT students at all levels and those who want a career shift to IT industry, being oriented to problem solving and smart solutions.  

Start Date: Beginning of February, 2019

Apply by: 1st February 2019

Degree Type: Graduate Students, Students in the last year or enrolled in a Master Program. IT enthusiasts who want a career shift to IT industry.
Industries: Applications Management (DevOps/ AM Analysts/ Java/.NET / iOS/ Android)
Length: 3 months, 6 hours/day, 5 days\week. Flexible hours

Internship Program Overview

  • Endava interns are provided with education, trainings, hands-on experience, supervision, and networking opportunities, using modern technology and information systems during the entire period.
  • Programs are supervised by our professionals and intend to meet intern’s expectations regarding their professional future.
  • Depending on the technology chosen, interns might be given the opportunity to be involved in training courses and/or workshops.
  • We try to give our interns a friendly work environment and real projects to participate in.
  • Project tasks in frame of a development project on which interns will need to work together and share information and knowledge with their team members.
  • Mentoring and personal approach for each intern.

Applications Management Engineer Requirements:

AM was created to provide services to our international customers for maintenance, enhancement and support of live production applications. These could either be applications that have been developed by Endava, themselves or third parties.

The AM practice is focused on defining and continually improving processes to provide high quality services to our customers for their production applications.

  • Good programming knowledge (Java/ .NET/ iOS/ Android) with focus on maintenance of applications more than development)
  • Working on incidents and adding new functionalities
  • Very good communication skills and ability to interact with customers
  • Very good command of English

Applications Management DevOps Engineer Requirements:

DevOps Engineers are responsible for maintaining and enhancing production, development and test environments and all associated processes and systems used by delivery teams. Using cutting edge technology they manage the infrastructure and environments required to transfer the code to customers live systems. Investigating new technologies for automation of processes, establishment of security standards, etc. is an everyday contribution of DevOps engineers that drives improvement to the systems and helps deliver quality to customers.

  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Ruby, bash, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Operating Systems Administration (Linux, Windows.)
  • Basic knowledge of Networking
  • Basic knowledge of Continuous Integration tools like GIT, Jenkins, Maven, etc. is a plus
  • Good command of English

Applications Management Analyst Requirements:

AM analysts are the bridge between the clients and AM Engineers, AM DevOps Engineers. Working very close with the customer, they get a clear understanding of the relationship between IT and Business. 

  • Experience of working within IT customer services and support operation
  • A clear understanding of the relationship between IT and Business 
  • Customer oriented – active listening and understands customers' needs
  • Business awareness – open to learn some customer procedures and work with the client policy in mind 
  • High Excel knowledge; also capable of identifying trends and using statistics to interpret data
  • Organized, analytical and methodical, structured approach to work, attention to details
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Basic computer skills
  • SQL knowledge is a plus
  • Ready to do 24/7 on-call support
  • Very good communication skills and ability to interact with customers 
  • Very good command of English
  • Team player
  • Client oriented
