Acquisition Assistant

Acvila Group is searching for an Acquisition Assistant that knows how to manage her/his work flow and is dedicated to provide excellent customer service. You should be adaptable to work in a team and independently, as the case may be. Observation and communication skills are also important since you will be dealing on daily basis with suppliers and manage important agreements. This is a job dealing with raw materials, supplies and the purchase of necessary materials for wool yarn producer and carpets for wholesale business.
Responsibilities:

Provide necessary assistance to the acquisition manager and other members of the acquisition team
Plan and support the acquisition process through detailed research
Place orders to the vendors
Acquire the orders, examine the goods and other materials and return any damaged material to the vendor
Prepare and maintain records of purchase and payments and preserve receipts for future reference
Provide accurate figures for the amount spent on acquisition to the finance department
Categorize and store goods and materials
Perform other administrative tasks

Additional requirements:

English language mandatory
Degree (or equivalent) preferably in a numerical discipline
Excel, PowerPoint skills
Some experience in a business analysis role
Tenacious approach to ensure timely resolution of issues
Pride yourself on ability to manage workload in order to meet strict deadlines, on outstanding work ethic and exceptional communication skills
Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts through reasoned communication
