Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our dynamic and talented team. In this role, you will be directly responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality .NET applications in the FinTech industry.
This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, ensuring solutions are delivered to a high standard, on time, and in alignment with the wider platform architecture. Additionally, you will play a key role in leading and mentoring developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using best practices and coding standards
• Actively contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, influencing system design, technology choices, and long-term platform evolution.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Break down requirements into deliverable technical tasks, sequencing work effectively to support predictable delivery.
• Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of work quality.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate closely with product, QA, infrastructure, and other cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet functional, technical, and operational requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to developers, supporting their growth through knowledge sharing, pairing, and continuous feedback.
• Proactively propose innovative ideas and solutions beyond the initial requirements to enhance application functionality and user experience.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development with a strong focus on .NET technologies.
• Proven ability to own technical design and implementation of features or services.
• Hands-on experience with DDD, TDD, CQS, and Clean Architecture.
• Required experience with asynchronous and concurrent programming in .NET, including the Task Parallel Library (TPL), async/await, Reactive Extensions (Rx), and parallel processing frameworks such as PLINQ.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with workflow and orchestration frameworks (e.g. Windows Workflow Foundation, Elsa Workflows)
• Familiarity with relational database technologies such as SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Git and familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to mentor and train developers.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in regulated, high-availability, or fintech environments.
• Experience with distributed coordination libraries (e.g. Akka.NET, Orleans)
• Front-end development skills, including experience with a modern front-end framework (e.g., Vue.js, Angular, React).
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
