Safety Driver Coach

We are looking for a confident, communicative, and responsible Safety Driver Coach who will work directly with our drivers on a daily basis, helping them improve safe driving habits, reviewing safety events through the Samsara platform, conducting coaching calls, and reducing overall fleet risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Driver Coaching & Communication
• Conduct daily coaching calls with drivers regarding:
• Traffic law violations;
• Unsafe driving behaviors;
• Accidents and safety incidents;
• DOT inspection results.
• Perform regular follow-up coaching sessions to reinforce safe driving habits and company safety standards.
• Build strong relationships with drivers by understanding their behavior, communicating effectively, and helping them improve their overall safety performance.
• Monitoring & Risk Management
• Review and analyze safety events in the Samsara platform, including:
• Dash camera footage;
• Telematics data;
• Safety reports.
• Verify violations based on U.S. traffic laws, posted speed limits, road signs, and FMCSA regulations.
• Identify recurring safety trends and develop corrective action plans.
• Track driver progress and ensure corrective actions are completed within established deadlines.
• Coordination & Compliance
• Collaborate closely with the Safety, Fleet, Dispatch, and HR departments.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and FMCSA regulations.
• Monitor driver safety performance, compliance requirements, and related documentation.
• Documentation & Process Improvement
• Maintain accurate records of coaching sessions and driver performance.
• Document safety violations, coaching activities, corrective actions, and follow-up results.
• Assist in improving internal safety procedures, coaching programs, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the trucking, transportation, logistics, or safety industry is preferred.
• English — Upper-Intermediate / Advanced.
• Russian — Fluent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
• Experience with the Samsara platform is considered a strong advantage.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, accountability, and sound decision-making abilities.
