Product Owner | Maibank Daily Banking

In this role you will have the following responsibilities:

1.    Own your area of e2e product development     

• Contribute to defining and refining the product vision, digitalization strategy for daily banking products and services in mobile application, ensuring alignment with regulatory compliance and optimized customer journeys.
• Analyze key metrics and data to understand customer behavior and product performance. Make informed decisions based on this data.
• Drive risk and impact assessment of new features, researches, as well as ensure benefit realisation based on benefit hypotheses.  
• Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user guides and release notes, with a strong emphasis on banking industry compliance
• Involve yourself in all phases of the product development lifecycle for each product and/or integration.
• Create mockups and prototypes to assist in the development process. Your ability to visualize and communicate your product vision will be crucial.
• Maximize the product value.

2.    Understand your customer.    

• Leverage your customer journey expertise to map out current and ideal customer experiences across daily banking products and services in mobile application.  
• Serve as a customer-focused leader, ensuring that the customer's voice is heard in all aspects of the product development process.  
• Knowledge of "customer development" methodology and "user-centered design" principles

3.    Own your backlog     

• Ensure Product Delivery by keeping a prioritized backlog of features that the team can drive to implementation.
• Own and define the product roadmap in line with client demands.   
• Encourage the team to generate user stories relevant to customer profile.
• Work with customer-facing teams to understand the impact of defects and prioritize to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders to maintain a long-term product area plan.

4.   Guide and influence your team.     

• Motivate, support, and appreciate all members of your team.
• Consistently reinforce product vision, customer goals, and the “why” to your team.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to translate user stories into detailed requirements, functional specifications, and UI mockups that encompass both banking industry regulations and enhanced customer journeys.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, customer feedback, and prioritize product features. You'll be the bridge between development and the customer.

Competences and abilities that make you suitable for this position:

• Solid knowledge of product development lifecycles, UI/CJ design processes, and customer journey mapping, preferably within a regulated environment, but not a requirement.    
• Familiarity in the field of IT or Fintech (would be an advantage);
• Good stakeholder management competencies.
• A solid understanding of Scrum as a way of working.
• Good organizational skills, as you'll be managing product development processes.
• Ability to strategically define, communicate, and measure the business value of your proposals and results.
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality digital products that meet banking industry standards and enhance customer journeys.
