Role Description
As the first key hire supporting the Country Manager, you will be the "engine" of Supermart Moldova. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that combines digital platform management with physical logistics and customer relations.
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chișinău, Moldova that involves managing daily operational tasks, ensuring smooth e-commerce processes and contributing to overall sales strategy. Additionally, the role will require collaborating with various group departments to enhance overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You are not just a specialist; you are a multi-talented operator responsible for ensuring that from the moment a product is listed online to the moment it reaches the customer’s door, everything runs perfectly.
  • Responsibilities include overseeing operations management, assisting with project execution, analyzing data to improve performance and supporting group's communication efforts within the team.
  • E-commerce & Content Management: Managing the CS-Cart platform, uploading product catalogs, ensuring high-quality content and handling English/Romanian/Russian translations.
  • Logistics & Warehouse Operations: Organizing the warehouse layout, receiving stock from suppliers, and personally handling the picking and packing of daily orders.
  • Customer Experience: Managing all customer touchpoints (live chat, email, and phone calls) to ensure high satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sourcing & Category Management: Assisting the CEO in identifying local suppliers and managing product categories to optimize sales.
  • - Administrative Support: Helping with the initial setup of the office/warehouse and daily operational tasks as required by the business launch.

Qualifications:

  • "Hands-on" mentality – willing to move from the laptop to the warehouse floor instantly.
  • Technical savvy (experience with CS-Cart, similar platforms and e-commerce tools is a major plus).
  • Effective Communication skills for collaboration with partners, team and group members.
  • Multilingual: Romanian and Russian; English for group communication.
  • Proficiency in Sales and basic understanding of e-commerce strategies.
  • Problem-solver: Able to work and find solutions in a fast-paced startup environment and attention to detail.
