Junior Legal Assistant

Job description:

We are looking for a motivated, responsible, and detail-oriented Junior Legal Adviser to support the company’s business processes from a legal perspective.

This role is a great opportunity for recent Law graduates as well as for candidates with experience (1-2 years) who want to start their career in an international business environment, work with contracts and legal documentation, and gradually take on more complex legal tasks.

No prior professional experience is required — we welcome this year’s and last year’s Law graduates.

Responsibilities:

• Draft client and supplier contracts using company templates and adapt them to specific business cases.
• Prepare legal documents, including letters, applications, requests, responses, and other official correspondence.
• Review documents prepared by other departments and provide basic legal support to colleagues.
• Monitor changes in the legislation of the Republic of Moldova and keep the team informed about relevant updates.
• Handle business correspondence with partners, including communication in English via email and messaging platforms.
• Visit notaries, translators, and state authorities as assigned by your manager.
• Gradually participate in legal risk assessment and support the company in interactions with state institutions.

Requirements:

• Degree in Law. Recent graduates are welcome.
• English at B2+ level, both written and spoken. This is a key requirement, as contracts, correspondence, and calls with European clients are conducted in English.
• Good understanding of civil, commercial, and labour law of the Republic of Moldova.
• Strong attention to detail, clear writing skills, responsibility, and willingness to learn.

Would be a plus:

• Internship or practical experience in a law firm, notary office, or in-house legal department.
• Basic knowledge of private international law.
