IT Expert for Risk Management

We are looking for a passionate, energetic member of a team to play a key role in development projects.

Your mission:

• Modify and maintain the loan approval decision strategy in the bank’s system according to the business needs.
• Provide Retail Risk management with in-house expertise and overall support on the decision-making system.
• Enhance decision-making by introducing advanced tools and integrations with new sources of information.

Tasks:

• Analyze change requests provided by Risk portfolio managers. Jointly with portfolio managers and IT, elaborate on the most efficient way to implement the requirements.
• Modify rules, score cards, champion-challengers and other loan approval strategy elements in the bank’s decision-making system. Test the changes.
• Document strategy alterations. Keep the changelog.
• Monitor the performance of the system. Optimize decision-making.
• Drive and participate in implementing new technologies, tools, and integrations with new information sources into the loan approval workflow.
• Consult and support Risk colleagues on topics related to the decision-making system.
• Prepare business requirements and requests for IT. Liaise with IT to ensure the implementation.
• Represent Retail Risks in the bank’s major IT infrastructure and integration projects.

Education: at least bachelor’s degree; technical education is preferable.

Professional experience: 3+ years in Risk technology / Software development / Algorithm engineering.

Skills and knowledge:

• Track record of business tasks solving with software tools.
• Knowledge of database concepts and SQL (ability to request data from an existing database). Experience with Microsoft SQL Server will be an advantage.
• Java and/or Python programming capabilities.
• English at least level B1, ability to read technical documentation and support correspondence.
• Acquaintance with the retail lending business will be an additional advantage.
