We are seeking a motivated and experienced Freight Broker to join our dynamic team.
As an Independent Freight Broker, you will be responsible for managing the entire freight cycle - from sourcing clients to negotiating rates, booking carriers, and ensuring successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and onboard new shippers across the U.S. and Canada
- Identify reliable carriers and build strong transportation partnerships
- Negotiate competitive rates with both shippers and carriers
- Manage the full freight cycle – from quoting to final delivery
- Track loads and manage delivery schedules
- Maintain strong relationships with all parties throughout the process
- Resolve issues related to transportation, customer concerns, delays
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Freight Brokerage
- Active network of shippers from the US and Canada (book of business)
- Proficient with load boards and TMS
- Self-motivated, organized, and driven to close deals
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
