Full Stack Developer - PHP / Vue.js

About the Company and Project

• We build and scale high-load CRM/ERP platforms and customer-facing products with complex business logic, extensive integrations, and a growing microservices architecture.
• We are looking for a strong PHP Developer who will primarily focus on backend development while occasionally contributing to frontend tasks when needed.
• The core of the role is backend development: business logic, APIs, integrations, microservices, performance, and maintaining our existing PHP-based platform. Experience with modern frontend technologies is a strong advantage, as you may sometimes work on UI-related tasks together with the frontend team.
• You will contribute to a long-term, mission-critical CRM/ERP platform used by more than 400 employees and serving over 300,000 customers.
• The role is approximately 80% backend and 20% frontend, with PHP as the primary focus and occasional Vue.js tasks.

Core Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial web development experience.
• Strong knowledge of PHP and practical experience with at least one modern PHP framework such as Laravel, Symfony, Yii, Spiral, or similar.
• Good understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Ability to understand, maintain, refactor, and improve existing codebases.
• Experience designing relational databases and optimizing SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
• Practical experience with Docker and Git.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Ability to work effectively with backend, frontend, QA, Product, BA, and architecture teams.
• English for reading and writing technical documentation.
• Russian is the primary communication language within the development team.

Nice to Have

• Commercial experience with Vue.js, React, or another modern frontend framework.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with Nuxt.js or Next.js.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS.
• Ability and willingness to occasionally take frontend tasks when required.
• Experience with Spiral Framework and RoadRunner.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with MariaDB.
• Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
• Understanding of CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Experience building or optimizing high-load systems.
• Experience writing technical documentation.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain backend functionality for our existing CRM/ERP platform.
• Build APIs, services, integrations, and microservices.
• Develop complex business logic and improve existing backend functionality.
• Maintain, refactor, and improve legacy and existing PHP code.
• Improve system performance, stability, scalability, and code quality.
• Work with PostgreSQL and optimize database queries.
• Collaborate with frontend developers on API design and implementation.
• Occasionally contribute to frontend tasks using Vue.js or other modern frontend technologies.
• Participate in architectural discussions together with the Lead Architect and development team.
• Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, code reviews, and other Scrum activities.
