In this role you will:

• Examine and analyze financial information;
• Present findings (written and verbal) to senior management and Directors;
• Support business profitability and growth through findings and recommendations;
• Prepare month-end and year-end reports, balance sheets;
• Cash flow management;
• Analyze current accounting systems, making suggestions for enhancements where needed;
• Ensure the business follows all required legislation;
• Prepare and submit VAT returns;
• Liaise with external auditors;
• Budgeting & forecasting;
• Reconciling accounts;
• Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data;
• Examining financial records to check for accuracy;
• Managing and training staff when necessary;
• Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices;
• Develop strategic plans for setting up shared services center for assigned finance/accounting activities;
• Identify and implement process and system improvements to increase overall efficiency and accuracy in SSC;
• Lead Projects/Initiatives across the shared Services organization;
• Lead Fuel reporting project.

Requirements:

• Higher education degree in Accounting or related field;
• 5 years of experience in accounting/finance role;
• Strong knowledge of tax law and labor law;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
• Proficiency in 1C ver.8.3;
• Exceptional organizational skills;
• Attention to details;
• Strong sense of responsibility;
• Fluency in spoken and written Romanian/Russian/English.
