Social Media Manager (SMM) in trucking company

We are a company with over 15 years of experience in the U.S. freight transportation market. We are expanding our team and opening a position for an SMM Manager (full-time, remote).
Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM — 4:00 PM (Chicago time / CST).

What you’ll be doing:
Managing 5 social platforms:
Instagram (Russian and English-language accounts);
Facebook — primarily content reposting;
LinkedIn — 2−3 posts per month;
TikTok;
YouTube Shorts — primarily content reposting.

Key responsibilities:
- independently writing texts and scripts for posts;
- creating and publishing content (posts, Reels, videos);
- managing comments, Direct messages, and messengers;
- handling inquiries from the audience (including signals like «how to apply for a job»);
- competitor analysis, searching for new formats and ideas.

Key goal:
- building the company’s image as a reliable «trust showcase»;
- attracting the target audience (truck drivers in the U.S.), rather than chasing empty reach.

What we expect from you:
- English — B2 or higher (written and spoken);
- at least 1 year of experience managing Instagram;
- ability to write content independently (copywriting, adapting content for different audiences);
- experience with Meta Business Suite, Ads Manager, and basic analytics;
- skills in creating Reels, basic video editing, and working with visual content;
- understanding the difference between quantitative reach and quality audience;
- proactivity, strong organizational skills, attention to detail;
- willingness to work the 7:00 AM — 4:00 PM (CST) schedule.

Will be a plus:
- knowledge of Spanish;
- experience in editing, animation, process automation, working with AI;
- interest in the transportation / freight industry.
