Head buyer- Agriculture products
An international company is looking to immediately hire an experienced negotiator and buyer to lead a purchasing division, purchasing hay and forage from farmers across Moldova.
The ideal candidate will have
- A broad understanding of the Moldovan agriculture sector.
- 5+ years experience in sales and negotiation
- Be able to negotiate directly with farm owners
- The ability to generate there own buying leads by building a nationwide database of farmers producing different crops.
- The ability to build a network of farmers and maintain relationships to purchase products directly from or contract farmers to grow products based on the companies needs throughout the year.
- A strong understanding of agriculture and farming practices.
- A driving license
- Must be able to speak English and Romanian
- Willing to travel for work and drive to meet farmers
