Role Overview
Lead accounting, financial reporting, and compliance services for a portfolio of local and international clients. The role combines technical expertise, team leadership, and client management.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage client portfolio and oversee full-cycle accounting & reporting
* Ensure compliance with local regulations and IFRS
* Review financial data, reconciliations, and closing processes
* Maintain high quality standards and support audits
* Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
* Identify business growth opportunities and support new client onboarding
* Monitor financial performance, KPIs, and improve processes
* Drive system usage, automation, and efficiency
Requirements
* Certified Accountant in Moldova (mandatory)
* Degree in Accounting/Finance; ACCA (in progress or completed) – advantage
* 8–12+ years of relevant experience
* Experience in managing teams and client portfolios
* Strong knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS, and reporting processes
* Advanced Excel and accounting systems skills
